National Bring the Love Back Campaign partnered with Atlanta's Patchwerk Recording Studios and Dallas Austin Foundation to announce the 2023 "That Tight 32 on Thursday" high school competition.
BTLB Youth Forum is an outreach component of the "Bring The Love Back" (BTLB) Workshop Series; BTLB Youth Forum is an opportunity for the youth to talk to adult leaders and first responders in their communities. "So often we have adults out front telling kids what to do." BTLB Youth Forum allows youth to have their voices heard. By giving youth the ability to ask questions pertaining to current issues, they may have heard or seen through the media and other outlets. The Forum keeps them engaged and participating as a positive influence on others in their peer group. The focus of the Forum is centered on the fundamental needs of today's youth such as saying, "No to Violence & Drugs", introducing STEAM Academics and mentorship opportunities in preparation for life elevation.
The "In the Kool Zone" model for school-based community collaboration combines Public Health methodology with Social Marketing theory.
